Havent written anything in forever. Not that many if anyone noticed. So I'm just going to try to write down last nights dream to the best extend as I can remember. Started out with me playing WarHammer 40K with someone. I dont remember. Someone I knew, but who it was wasnt relevant to the dream. Shortly after starting, I was in the game, like an FPS, blasting Tyranids with my storm bolter. I vaguely recall thinking "That isnt what I thought a storm bolter would sound like". After a while of Giger-esque combat, the scene changed to a more RTS mode, where I was building bases, while other forces took care of the fighting aspect. Which is fine. Managing bases is my favorite aspect of RTS. Fighting just distracts from upgrading. That part was relatively short. I woke up around 3am, rather surprised that that much dream was that short. Realized I was parched, probably snoring. Got up for some water and went back to bed. New dream. I'm hanging out with a crowd. Very casual, friendly. We're outside city limits some place. I dont know if it was someones place, or some place we were just meeting at. After a while we rounded up our vehicles and drove to a gas station. Probably for provisions. As soon as we got there and get out, someone said that we had been followed. Everyone draws guns. I draw my gun. Wait, I've got a gun? Since when do I pack heat? Holy shit, we're not a bunch of buddies hanging out, we're a goddamn gang. But no shooting happens. On retrospect, I want the totally sweet leather jacket I was wearing in my dream. Scene changes. We're now running along the roof tops. I'm not sure if we're chasing or being chased. In the lead is an older black guy, who seems to be the gang leader. We run for a while. At some point we drop down in to an alley, and confront someone. Talk is hostile. Suddenly, the guy takes out a windshield wiper blade, and starts to hit Black Gang Leader. He gets upset. More harsh words. Then he turns to me, and demands I hit him, too. I take out a windshield wiper blade, and beat him with it, wondering why the fuck I'm doing so. My blows draw blood each time. But BGL seems to like it. Not in a perverted sort of way, but in a "this is good for me" sort of way. Other than some more driving I dont recall much else. Veeeerry strange. Woke up to my alarm going off, very confused, very not awake. First time in a while I've actually not woken up around 7-8am and only dosed til the alarm went off. Didnt take anything either. Oh well. Off to bed now, see what sleep has in store tonight. | | Sunday, September 6th, 2009 | | 11:20 am |
Forgot to update. My payment was within the grace period, and they removed my charges. Hurrah! | | Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 | | 8:51 am |
Looks like I missed the last payment on my deferred credit of my repair bill by a day. So now I get the $390 interest. Outstanding. | | Thursday, August 20th, 2009 | | 7:15 pm |
After three months, finally rain. Lots of it. Still working the same place. Finally have a toner tech, and a lot of stress off my back. Still want a new job, better pay, and location. After next paycheck my monthly payments go down a lot, which will help out my cash flow significantly. Socially, no real change in my weekly routine. Hermit 6 out of 7 days, and once a week drive oogles of miles. There. A months worth of update that could almost fit in a twitter post. | | Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | | 4:12 pm |
Ok. So Congress officially voted to quit funding the F-22. That was one of the planes I wanted to join the AF to get my grubby little hands on (after plenty of F-16 time). I see where it's coming from, but the justifications make me froth at the mouth. "It's outdated" Nigga what? Granted, it's 1990's Tech. But let's compare the aircraft it's seceding. The F-15 was designed at the end of the 1960's. Hardly outdated. "We already have the F-35." But wait. The F-35 is a Multi-Role fighter. The F-22 is an Air Superiority fighter. These things are not the same. The F-22 carries more ordinance, is faster, flies higher, and further. The F-35 carries a better variety of air-to-ground ordinance, and has a better internal fuel tank range. It's VTOL. In short, it's replacing the Harrier and F-16. We need both aircraft, not just one. At what point does it become uneconomical to overhaul our 1960's-70's fleet? Yes, the F-15 and F-16, F/A-18 fighters could defeat any opposing Air Force. But there would be losses. The point of the F-22/35 is that First-Look-First-Shot-First-Kill package that will bring our pilots home safely. What's the price of a life? | | Friday, July 10th, 2009 | | 12:44 am |

So the owner came in today and tried to use the fax. Our fax is cranky and needs a special touch. He got mad at it, and decided to smash it instead of just letting me use it. Right. So if that's his reaction to something upsetting, how safe am I? He's become increasingly whiny about stuff. I really dont like the way this work environment is turning in to. Anyone know any place hiring that's worth why while? Current Mood: disgruntledCurrent Music: Lustra - Scotty Doesnt know (playing in my head) | | Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | | 10:38 pm |

Very productive today. Tried to change our air filter, and the desk I was using to prop myself up to reach it didnt take my weight anymore. I guess after 5 years that slab of particle board decided it wasnt going to take it anymore. | | Thursday, June 18th, 2009 | | 11:45 pm |
I need more books. That is all. | | Monday, June 15th, 2009 | | 5:54 pm |
Night visitor was back. Ransacked the entire store looking for the cash. Eventually found it, but not before tearing up a lot of the store. He must have spent a long panicked while trying to find it (it was cleverly hidden). Deputy said he'd send a forensic team by. They never came. Shame too, because there were probably a LOT of finger prints left this time. Sigh! | | Thursday, June 11th, 2009 | | 11:34 am |
30 days til my birthday. | | Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 | | 11:47 am |
I cant believe I have to deal with this shit again. It's been almost a year. Why oh why didnt the sheriffs department tell me that our little felon was released in April? I think it might have been relevant information...Especially with this mornings events. We've been broken in to again. Same MO, but this time he left the checks (wising up a bit). Deputies agreed, it has to be the same person. Maybe they'll do something about it? Ugh. Like I didnt have enough to do already. | | Monday, June 1st, 2009 | | 10:13 pm |
Tag: Rant (redundant on my LJ I know) Last night at 11pm I get a message from my Tech. She informs me she isnt going to be in at all Monday. They went to a funeral this weekend out of town, and since her husband doesnt work Monday he decided to take the scenic route home. Let me explain why this is a problem. Monday is our busiest day. I had to get up an hour earlier and work an hour longer (I'm salary, so I'm not getting paid for it). It was also the first of the month. I had a mountain of paper work to take care of. Since Sunday I've had a splitting head ache. Combine slowly, stir, let rise in to a really shitty day. I did have an empowered moment. My sales rep was in and wanted to discuss something with me. Right then three customers walked in. Intermittently phone rings too. Finally take care of last customer, turn to my rep...and the phone rings AGAIN. I lost my cool. I yelled at the phone to shut up. It...did. Rang only once. Didnt ring again until we were done. Creepy. I didnt get a whole lot accomplished today unfortunately, but what can you do. Still have a headache. Now I'm on Blip.fm playing Viva Hits. Oh, how I wish I could get Viva 2 on TV here. MTV could learn so much. | | Saturday, May 30th, 2009 | | 10:54 am |
Credit card is fixed. But not before being charged overdraft because my payment couldnt process. Jokes on me! | | Thursday, May 28th, 2009 | | 6:48 pm |
Due to a number of random factors that cant be blamed on anyone party, my credit card is currently frozen. It took 3 reps to get me an answer to my problem (including one who said that I didnt make my monthly payment. The fuck I didnt.) For whatever reason, some sites are having difficulty with my new address. One such site, after I tried to get it to process my card several times, kept sending $1 inquiries to my card (standard procedure), and that, plus already pending charges, maxed out my queues, thus suspending my card until those inquiries were processed (which will take up to 7 days). So in another day or two I'll have normal access again, but for the moment it's a real irritation. | | Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 | | 10:28 pm |

And my lucky streak continues. ~$430 for a new radiator. Fortunately I can put this on my dealership credit card. May is a very expensive month this year. If I can go til September without anymore undue expenses I might finally be able to afford a new car. So yeah, those of you who owe me money: Cough up :-( |
